What we collect

When you place an order on this website, you give us:

Once you are a customer, we also keep your order history and a record of your payments.

We do not collect card details. You never enter them on this site.

Why we use it

We use your data because we need it to serve you (the contract between us), because the law asks us to keep accounting records, and, for marketing, because you agreed.

Who sees it

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Our order system runs on cloud servers outside Mauritius, in the European Union. We have contracts in place with our providers so that your data is protected to a standard at least equal to Mauritian law.

Cookies and tracking

Today this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and does no tracking.

The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, Google receives your IP address to serve the font files. We do not receive anything from this.

If we add cookies or analytics later, we will show you a consent banner first and ask before setting anything that is not strictly necessary.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2017 you can ask us to:

Write to info@alcpetcare.com. We will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Office of Mauritius (dataprotection.govmu.org).

If something goes wrong

We keep your data behind passwords and limit who can see it. If there is ever a data breach that puts your rights at risk, we will tell the Data Protection Office and inform you, where the law requires it.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Big changes will be pointed out on the home page.
